Korean version of Monkey King

The famous monkey king story transcended to this crazy
animation during 90s in Korea.
I grew up watching this animation,
the lyrics and melody flows through my head

"chi-ki-cha-ka-cho-ko-cho-ko-cho"

This monkey king rides superboard-
the pig carries bazuuuka
and weird sea creature hits people with his that makes sound "BBYONG"
everytime he hits with it.

enjoy-

The lego

The lego used to be one of my favorite toys-
along with rolli polli and ants and rocks and dirt.
I think LEGO is,
the brilliant invention ever.
So meeting LEGO people this summer was extra special for me.
Klaus, a prototype maker, used to fish farming long time ago-
always told me I need to start learn modeling now.
Megan, a concept designer of the LEGO, encouraged me to continue be in the industry as a woman power!
Mark, "the" builder, told me "90% of concept lego don't go through"

All the lego product we see in the marktet is the 10% that made it through.
Through rebuilding, recycling, and reconstructing.

Could you make to 10%?

This is LEGO fan website.
I absolutely think it's brilliant!

Do You Use Left or Right?

I'm talking about being left or right-brained. We know both sides excel at different parts of brain work but having a stronger intuition with either side can dictate the reasons behind actions. I found this awesome website that breaks it down. It begins with a little test to determine whether you use more left or right brained (or you could be both i guess).

I was very surprised at the results! But see for yourself. Click here!

$ Makeover

I read an article about the Dollar ReDe$ign Project. The project was started as a creative attempt to revive the national recession, as the "catalyst to restart the economy." The creative strategy consultant behind the project says that America needs to be able to compete with its flashy rival the euro.

Here are a few concept designs that have been submitted by various people.

The purpose of the vertical dollar bill was because it was observed that people tend to handle bills vertically and and look for bills in their wallet vertically (duh, that's because wallets open vertially...)

The one dollar bill hasn't changed for decades, I doubt this will ever go through now. I think Americans have a firm identity with their money and its distinct look. These recent designs look so much like foreign bills. Even though the project is real, it actually isn't popular. The heads of the project have circulated a petition to urge the U.S. government to change the bills' designs, and that's how much effort they need to try an prove that people want these changes, but I don't think it will happen, not soon at least.

EyeSore

I found this cool site with a ton of flash optical illusions! They are quite fascinating as you go along. Some of them I'm sure you've seen somewhere before, but then it goes into more advance versions! Click Here to See!

New Films from GOBELIN

http://www.gobelins.fr/galerie/animation/

Maybe John Clapp has his name in the credits somewhere. These are the new films from the Gobelin 2010 year! They did a really gob job this year (MUCH better than last year), I enjoyed all of the films. They're all in there own style and tell very simple stories in the most entertaining way!

Sue, you'll probably like "Trois Petits Points"

Guess which one I really like...

Rarest Rabbit

This is the Sumatran Striped Rabbit, only recently photographed for the first time back in 2007. This rabbit is so rare, that it has only been sighted three times since 1972 and only photographed in these following pictures! It can only be found in the Barisan Mountains in western Sumatra, Indonesia.

Looks like something from a fantasy world!

This discovery is amazing! It's proof that we still have millions of species to confirm and document, unknown if they actually exist of not. It is also strong evidence that many species are becoming more rare due to human deforestation and lack of effort to conserve the environment. We cannot lose these beautiful creatures, there are many critically endangered species we still have yet to discover! It's cousin, the Annamite Striped Rabbit was only discovered in 2008 in Vietnam!

the road not taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

by Robert Frost

this poem has been my favorite poem since I came to United States.
and today-
i made the decision that i won't regret with a sigh in far future from today.
i wish
to keep this moments
for very long time.
